This application offers comprehensive offline topographic map coverage of the South Island of New Zealand from the LINZ Topo50 1:50k scale map series. The maps are all stored in the installation, eliminating the need for additional downloads, phone or wifi signal, slow server issues, account signups, missing tiles, or extra map fees. Enjoy seamless offline zooming and panning across the entire island at a 1:50k scale. Additionally, the app provides 1:50k resolution satellite images for the island and elevation data.

Integrated data includes DOC hunting permit boundaries, DOC huts, campgrounds, and tracks, Fish and Game access points, Te Araroa trails, Public Conservation Land boundaries, selected public road parcels. Additional datasets can be imported into the application.

The app is equipped with a comprehensive set of navigation features such as GPS location tracking, compass orientation, distance calculation to map locations, track recording and graphing, route creation and following, import/export functionalities for gpx and kml files, search capabilities for named places and user data. Users can add and edit their own locations and routes, as well as plot elevation profiles. The camera view can be utilized to identify surrounding peaks and match them with local topography.
